The Invity app is compliant with European MiCA regulation

Feb 11, 2026

Invity is a European bitcoin app compliant with MiCA regulation.

MiCA (Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation) is the European Union’s regulatory framework designed to create clear rules for crypto service providers and increase customer protection across Europe.

The whole cryptocurrency industry is maturing. What once felt like the Wild West has changed. Over the past year, many have had to put on a suit more than once to continue offering their services.

We’re proud to say that we are the first applicant in the Czech Republic who have received the MiCA licence!

“We’re part of a historic moment in which the ‘cowboys’ of the crypto world have put on their jackets and headed to meetings with the Czech National Bank. It feels unexpectedly symbolic that we’re receiving the licence in the same year that bitcoin celebrates its eighteenth birthday. The entire crypto-asset market is maturing, opening up to a broader audience, and, for the first time, officially to institutions as well. I am proud that Invity, with the help of our entire team, has obtained the licence and can now provide users with an app offering some of the best strategies for buying bitcoin.”
Pavla Nýdrle, Partner in Invity

From a built-in Trezor app to a fully native solution for a broader audience

Invity was born in 2019 when it started as a desktop comparator and built-in option in Trezor Suite for customers who wanted to find the best option for buying or selling their bitcoin.

Over time, Invity has evolved beyond a simple comparator.

In 2022, we decided to become a fully native app focused on building long-term bitcoin wealth. Choosing the path of regulation was not the easiest one, but it was the only way to continue helping newcomers enter bitcoin safely and allowing experienced bitcoiners to keep stacking with smart strategies.

In 2024, we applied for the MiCA licence and introduced Turbo Buy, a strategy that quickly gained attention among experienced bitcoin users looking for more advanced accumulation approaches.

Today, Invity serves beginners, long-term bitcoiners, traditional investors, and companies, all within one regulated European platform.

What do the MiCA regulations change for me as a customer?

MiCA means that Invity operates under European regulation, follows strict compliance rules, and provides customers with legally compliant and transparent services.

The regulatory journey was demanding. Some smaller projects disappeared as the administrative burden became too heavy. For us, it required extensive documentation, compliance procedures, and the expansion of our risk and compliance teams. While this process brought challenges, it also strengthened our internal systems and operational reliability.

For you as a customer, MiCA means:

  • operating within a regulated European framework
  • clearly defined rules and responsibilities
  • improved infrastructure and security standards
  • greater transparency when using crypto services

In short, MiCA reduces uncertainty and increases trust when using bitcoin services in the European Union.

So overall you will have less uncertainty, more clarity, and ultimately you can focus more on building, using, and preserving your bitcoin wealth.

What’s coming next at Invity

Receiving the MiCA licence gives us a seat among regulated financial companies and opens the door to new products designed for different life stages.

Our goal is to build simple tools that help users buy, accumulate, manage, and preserve bitcoin across different stages of life.
