Provider Services & Fees

When you trade crypto using Trezor Suite, your transaction is processed through trusted third-party providers integrated into the platform. Each provider offers different services such as buying, selling, or swapping crypto, and applies its own set of fees depending on the payment method, region, and market conditions.

While fee amounts vary from one trade to another, we are committed to helping you understand the types of fees involved, how offers are selected, and what to expect when using the platform.

Understanding Trading Fees

Trading fees in Trezor Suite are dynamic. This means they adjust in real time based on factors like blockchain congestion, provider pricing, liquidity, and the selected payment method. Because of this, exact amounts cannot be displayed in advance.

To see the total cost of a trade, simply compare the input amount (what you send) with the output amount (what you receive). This reflects all fees included in the offer.

Here are the most common types of fees you may encounter:

Gas fee

A blockchain network fee paid to validators or miners to process your transaction or execute smart contracts.

Payment processing fee

Applied by third-party providers to handle fiat payments such as credit card purchases or bank transfers. These vary by provider, payment method, and region.

Service fee

A fee charged by the exchange provider for executing your trade. It is often included in the final price shown and may vary depending on the provider or payment method.

Spread

The difference between the buy and sell price of an asset. This is a common trading cost that affects the final amount you receive.

Slippage

A slight difference between the expected price and the actual executed price of a trade. This may occur due to market volatility or limited liquidity.

How Offers Are Selected

Trezor Suite uses Smart Trading Engine to automatically match you with the best available offer. This engine compares offers from multiple integrated exchange providers in real time and selects the most suitable one based on:

  • Your preferred payment method
  • Local currency
  • Know Your Customer (KYC) verification status
  • Live exchange rates
  • Provider reliability and availability

This intelligent process ensures that the offer you see first is the most competitive option available, tailored to your preferences, region, and trading profile.

While the best-matched offer is shown by default, you always have the freedom to view and select other available offers if you prefer a different provider, payment method, or rate. To see more options, select the Compare all offers tab in Trezor Suite. You’ll find a full list of offers from available providers.
